Babu Caterers (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides catering services with both delivery (shipping) and self-pickup options. This Shipping & Pickup Policy explains the terms, timelines, and conditions related to the delivery and collection of food orders.

1. Service Areas

  • We provide delivery services within Pune and nearby areas, subject to availability.
  • Delivery outside standard service areas may be accepted with additional charges.
  • Service availability depends on event size, location, and order value.

2. Delivery (Shipping) Policy

  • Delivery time will be confirmed in advance at the time of order booking.
  • Customers must ensure clear access to the delivery location at the scheduled time.
  • Any delay caused due to incorrect address, traffic restrictions, or customer unavailability will not be our responsibility.
  • Delivery charges, if applicable, will be communicated before order confirmation.

3. Same-Day & Scheduled Delivery

  • Catering deliveries are usually scheduled as per event time.
  • Same-day delivery requests are subject to availability and order size.
  • Last-minute changes may not be possible once food preparation has started.

4. Pickup (Self-Collection) Policy

  • Customers opting for self-pickup must collect the order at the agreed date and time.
  • Pickup location details will be shared after order confirmation.
  • Delay in pickup may affect food quality, for which Babu Caterers will not be responsible.
  • No refund will be issued for failure to pick up the order on time.

5. Packaging & Handling

  • All food items are packed hygienically using food-grade packaging.
  • Bulk catering orders may be delivered in large containers suitable for events.
  • Once the order is handed over to the customer or delivery personnel, responsibility for food handling and storage transfers to the customer.

6. Delivery Delays & Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Traffic disruptions
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes or emergencies

7. Damaged or Missing Items

  • Customers are advised to check the order at the time of delivery or pickup.
  • Any missing or incorrect items must be reported immediately.
  • Complaints raised after completion of delivery or event may not be considered.

8. No Shipping for Leftover Food

  • Babu Caterers does not provide return pickup or shipping of leftover food after the event.
  • Management of leftover food is the customer’s responsibility.

9. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify or update this Shipping & Pickup Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
