Refund & Cancellation Policy – Babu Caterers, Pune

Babu Caterers (“we”, “our”, “us”) believes in maintaining transparency and fairness with our customers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for our catering services.
1. Order Confirmation
- An order is considered confirmed only after advance payment or written confirmation (via WhatsApp, email, or invoice).
- Once confirmed, preparations and ingredient procurement may begin.
2. Cancellation Policy
Customer-Initiated Cancellations
For Events:

More than 72 hours before the event:
✅ Eligible for refund after deduction of processing or advance expenses (if any). -
Between 48–72 hours before the event:
⚠️ Partial refund may be provided after deducting preparation, planning, and procurement costs. -
Less than 48 hours before the event:
❌ No refund will be issued, as food preparation and arrangements are already in progress.
For Pickup/Delivery Orders:

More than 12-24 hours before the event:
✅ Eligible for refund after deduction of processing or advance expenses (if any). -
Between 6-12 hours before the event:
⚠️ Partial refund may be provided after deducting preparation, planning, and procurement costs. -
Less than 6 hours before the event:
❌ No refund will be issued, as food preparation and arrangements are already in progress.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
No refund shall be applicable in the following cases:
- Event cancellation on the same day
- Change of mind after food preparation has started
- Incorrect event details provided by the customer
- Delay or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (natural calamities, strikes, government restrictions, etc.)
4. Changes to Orders
- Minor changes in menu or guest count may be accepted subject to availability and mutual agreement.
- Any increase in quantity or menu upgrades will be charged additionally.
- Reduction in quantity after confirmation may not be eligible for refund.
5. Service Issues
If there is a genuine issue related to service quality:
- Customers must inform us during or immediately after the event.
- Complaints raised after the event without valid proof may not be considered for refund.
- Resolution may include partial refund or service adjustment at our discretion.
6. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment.
- Bank or payment gateway charges (if any) will be deducted.
7. No Returns Policy
As Babu Caterers provides perishable food and catering services, returns are not applicable once food has been prepared or delivered.
8. Policy Updates
Babu Caterers reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be effective immediately upon publication on the website.
